1. Who we are
Mạghā Astro AI is a product of Magnocode Tech Private Limited (collectively, “Mạghā Astro AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy applies to our website, account experience, and Vedic astrology services, including charts, timing tools, compatibility features, Praśna, reports, and traditional guidance.

2. Information we collect
We collect information in the following categories:
- Google account information. When you choose Google sign-in, we receive your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile image if one is available.
- Astrological and profile information. You may provide birth date, birth time, birthplace, coordinates or time zone, preferences, saved charts, compatibility details, Praśna questions, and information used to create reports or traditional guidance.
- Communications. We receive the information you include when you contact us for support, privacy help, or other enquiries.
- Technical and security information. We may process IP address, device and browser information, session records, essential cookie or local-storage data, and diagnostic or security logs needed to operate and protect the service.
If you submit birth or compatibility information about another person, you must have their permission or another lawful basis to do so and should make this policy available to them.
3. How we handle Google user data
We request only the basic Google sign-in permissions needed to authenticate you: OpenID, email, and profile. We do not request access to the contents of Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts, or other Google services.
We use Google account information only to create, secure, connect, and provide access to your Mạghā Astro AI account, prevent duplicate or fraudulent accounts, and assist you with account support.
We do not sell Google user data. We do not use or transfer it for advertising, retargeting, data brokerage, credit or lending decisions, or training general-purpose or shared artificial-intelligence models. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- authenticate users and maintain secure accounts and sessions;
- calculate, display, save, and organise charts and astrological factors;
- provide timing, compatibility, Praśna, report, and remedy features;
- remember settings and maintain continuity across visits;
- answer support, privacy, and account requests;
- detect fraud, abuse, technical failures, and security incidents;
- maintain and improve user-facing service reliability; and
- meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Depending on where you live, we process information to perform our agreement with you, with your consent, to comply with law, or for legitimate interests such as service security and reliability where those interests do not override your rights.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain account information and saved charts, reports, and preferences while your account is active and for only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Support records and security logs are retained only for those operational or legal purposes.
You can request deletion through the account-deletion control available while signed in. If you cannot access that control, email [email protected] from the address associated with your account so we can verify the request.
Following a valid deletion request, we delete or de-identify personal information that is not required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, or the establishment or defence of legal claims. Residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until they are overwritten through the normal backup cycle. De-identified information that can no longer reasonably be linked to you may be retained.
7. Security and international transfers
We use administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include access controls, secure transport, appropriate storage protections, monitoring, and limiting access to people and providers that need the information for an authorised purpose.

Our service and providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use contractual or other recognised safeguards for such transfers and apply the protections described in this policy.
8. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, a copy of, or deletion of your personal information. You may also have rights to restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to the privacy authority that applies where you live.
You can revoke Mạghā Astro AI’s Google access from the connections or third-party access area of your Google Account. Revocation stops future Google sign-in access but does not by itself delete an existing Mạghā Astro AI account or information already stored by us; use the account-deletion control or contact us to request deletion.

9. Children
Mạghā Astro AI is intended only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly permit children to create accounts or intentionally collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact [email protected] so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our service, data practices, or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised policy here, update its effective date, and provide additional notice when required by law or when a change materially affects your rights.
