Planetary ingress search
An ingress is a planet's entry into a sign or nakṣatra. Search from a chosen moment rather than testing dates manually. Retrograde motion can produce repeat entries, so keep the planet, destination and occurrence together.
Sign or nakshatra change offers Sign or Nakshatra, then Entering lets the visitor choose Any or a particular destination. The search period is chosen separately. These are criteria only, with no calculated ingress date.

Choose the region before choosing its destination
Android's Sign or nakshatra change search lets you choose Sign or Nakshatra and Any or a specific destination. It uses the ordinary D1 zodiac. Transit reaches also accepts Rashi/Nakshatra targets, but an exact natal-planet contact instead asks for one longitude. The diagram documents these actual form choices; it does not supply a computed occurrence or invent a date for the destination.

Retrograde motion can bring the planet back
Retrograde motion can produce repeated entries into the same region. Next searches forward, Previous backward and Android's Date range bounds a chosen interval. The 30- or 100-year horizon does not guarantee an occurrence; read coverage and continue a bounded response when needed. If the question concerns the turn in motion itself, choose Planet station. A station and an ingress remain distinct events.

Apply an occurrence only when you want its chart
From Transits, choose Find a transit time → Sign or nakshatra change on Android. Set the region, destination and period, checking your zodiac and ayanāṁśa. Review results, then choose Open in Transits to apply an occurrence; selecting a row alone leaves the current sky unchanged.
This preview shows the real choices but cannot calculate an ingress. Nila’s chart stays fixed and supplies no occurrence date or personal forecast. The full feature is free.
Questions before searching for a sign change
How do I find Saturn's next sign change?
In Android's Advanced transit builder, choose Saturn, then More search types and Sign or nakshatra change. Choose Sign, set Entering and use Next from the starting moment you want. Read the searched coverage and any occurrences before applying one with Open in Transits. The bundled preview cannot run that search.
Can Jupiter enter the same sign more than once?
Yes. A planet can enter a sign, move back during retrograde motion and later return. Those are separate entries. Choose a period that matches your question and read the returned occurrences rather than assuming the first sign-change date describes every crossing.
Is nakṣatra entry the same as a sign change?
No. Sign and Nakshatra select different zodiac regions. Choose the kind of region first, then its destination under Entering. An ingress search asks when the planet enters that region; it differs from reaching a natal planet's exact degree or finding a station.
Which ingress date should I use?
In your own search, read the returned occurrences and searched coverage before choosing a time with Open in Transits. This page's preview supplies no ingress date to choose: it shows the real form choices for Nila Raman’s chart and stops before searching. Home's authored planetary-event illustrations are not calculated ingress results.
