Chart sharing with the details you choose

Share a read-only chart snapshot and choose which personal details it includes. Later edits do not silently change the published version; republish deliberately. Mạghā also lets you revoke the link, while your saved chart remains editable.

A shared chart is separate from the original. From original chart to shared snapshot

You publish a read-only snapshot with your chosen birth details. Republishing updates the snapshot, while a full-details recipient can save a separate chart using their own settings.

A saved recipient copy uses the viewer’s settings and remains independent. Revoking sharing disables the snapshot link.

A shared snapshot has its own life

A shared link publishes a snapshot, without granting access to edit the saved original. Later corrections reach recipients only when you republish. Full-detail recipients can save independent copies using their own calculation settings; hidden-detail shares cannot be imported this way. Revoke shared link disables the published link but cannot recall copies already saved. Choose the detail level and update the snapshot deliberately when sharing corrections.

Decide what the recipient needs to know

Full birth details include the name, gender, date, time, place and time zone. Choose that option when the person reading the chart needs the inputs as well as the planetary picture. It also allows the recipient to save their own copy. The hidden-details option uses a generic title and omits the personal birth details from the shared view.

That choice is useful when discussing a chart's structure without putting a person's name and birth details in the accompanying screen. It is a choice about the information shown, rather than a promise that the chart cannot be recognised. Planetary positions and derived charts can still carry clues about the original inputs. Ask what the recipient actually needs before choosing the more detailed option, especially when the chart belongs to someone else.

Choose sharing details

On the web, Share offers birth-details and anonymous options. The library’s sharing dialog defaults new links to Hide birth details and requires acknowledgment before Prepare link. On mobile, use Chart actions → Share chart.

Note: the preview publishes nothing. Hiding birth inputs does not make a chart anonymous: planetary positions, period dates and divisional charts may still reveal approximate birth facts. Review existing links’ settings.

Questions before you share a chart

Can I share a saved chart with someone else?

Yes. After signing in, open Charts from Home, open the saved chart and choose Share on the web. On mobile, open Chart actions, then Share chart. Choose whether to include personal birth details before sending a link.

What happens when someone opens the shared link?

The recipient reads a read-only snapshot in the browser. Your saved chart remains separate. A full-details recipient can save an independent copy using their calculation settings, so its results may differ from the shared view. Later corrections appear through the link only when you republish.

Are shared chart links private?

Choose hidden details to omit the name and personal birth details from the shared view. The planetary positions and derived charts can still reveal clues about the inputs. Review the choice before sending someone else's chart, and treat any chart a recipient saves as a separate record.

Choose how to share your chart

The web Share menu offers Share with birth details and Share anonymously; the phone Chart actions menu includes Share chart.
This Nila Raman’s chart stops at the real sharing menu on desktop and Chart actions on iOS and Android. It publishes nothing and creates no link. The later mobile dialog is demo-authored, so it is not presented as the live share sheet.

The Nila Raman preview opens the sharing menu. It does not publish a chart or create a share link.
