Versioned rule engine

Available in Mạghā

1,001 Vedic yoga formulations

Evaluate the complete 1,001-rule catalogue, then inspect only the active combinations with their names, source descriptions, placements, and evidence.

1,001 rules, active results

Mạghā evaluates 1,001 catalogue formulations against a birth chart and displays the active combinations. That number describes the rules examined; it does not mean every chart contains 1,001 yogas. Inactive rules are also tested, so the results are not limited to a popular-yogas shortlist.

See why a yoga matches

Each active result includes its name, catalogue description and the placements that satisfy the rule. Compare those conditions with the chart. Strength, house relevance, cancellation and timing still require interpretation; detecting a combination does not make every result equally influential.

Compare the same rule version

The catalogue and engine use a versioned rule manifest, source checksum and named convention profile. These record which definitions produced a result. When comparing outputs, keep the rule version and chart settings together so a change in method is not mistaken for a change in the chart.

Definitions vary by tradition

Yoga definitions can differ between sources, translations and schools. Mạghā documents the convention implemented by its engine rather than claiming universal agreement. Compare the source description and matching conditions with the tradition you follow before using a detected yoga in your reading.

Detection is the starting point

Detection establishes whether a coded condition is present. Interpretation considers its strength, timing and relationship to the whole chart. Daśā, dignity, houses, divisional charts and competing factors remain relevant. A detected Raja, Dhana, Arishta or other yoga does not guarantee a literal outcome.

Practitioner questions

Will every chart show 1,001 active yogas?

No. The engine evaluates 1,001 formulations and displays the subset whose coded conditions are active for the chart.

Can I see why a yoga was detected?

Yes. Active results include the catalogue description and the placements or combination that satisfied the rule.

Are all yoga definitions universally accepted?

No. The engine uses a documented, versioned convention profile. Variant definitions should be evaluated against the practitioner’s source tradition.
