Balarishta Yoga

Balarishta groups nine historical formulations concerning early-life vulnerability. Their different conditions and qualifying combinations must be read together. These records are not medical assessments, predictions of a child's lifespan or grounds for frightening conclusions.

How Balarishta Yoga forms

The example uses the first formulation: Moon occupies the sixth, eighth or twelfth house from the ascendant and receives a malefic aspect. House position alone is not enough.

The other eight records use distinct arrangements, including retrograde planets, strength conditions or groups of malefics. They are not eight cancellations of the first rule, and each needs its own evidence.

Aries rises and Moon occupies Virgo in the sixth. Saturn in Pisces casts its seventh aspect to Virgo. This illustrates the selected historical rule without making a claim about any child's health. The example separately supplies tithi 11 for planetary classification; it is a teaching assumption, not a birth date or a displayed D1 placement.

Understanding the historical category

The source discusses early-life mortality in language that can be alarming when removed from context. It also warns that the indication is isolated and directs the reader to Arishta-Bhanga, or cancellation, combinations.

The useful purpose of this page is to explain what the recorded rule means. It does not turn a historical description into an individual prognosis.

Qualifications and appropriate care

A separate cancellation must be identified by its own supported conditions; the name Balarishta alone does not establish whether one is present. The rest of the chart also cannot be reduced to this single label.

Astrology cannot diagnose a health condition or reliably predict a child's lifespan. For concerns about a child's health, seek qualified medical care.

Traditional interpretations are not guaranteed outcomes; consider the whole birth chart.
