Nārāyaṇa Daśā

Nārāyaṇa Daśā is a Jaimini sign-based timing system. Each period makes a zodiac sign the reference for reading the planets occupying and influencing it. Mạghā displays its sequence and dated subdivisions beside your saved birth chart.

Follow Nila’s sign periods from Libra

The saved sample opens with Libra, followed by Scorpio, Sagittarius and Capricorn. Their full main-period lengths are twelve, eight, ten and one years. The chart illustration uses the saved boundaries rather than drawing twelve equal time blocks: a longer sign period occupies more of the strip.

At the sample’s reference moment, 12 September 2026, Aquarius is running from June 2025 to June 2033. The first saved interval begins in June 1994, before Nila’s October birth; the birth marker shows that distinction. These dates describe this prepared calculation, not a universal Nārāyaṇa cycle for every birth.

Read the period with the whole birth chart

Begin with the sign running the main period. Locate it in the birth chart, note its lord and occupants, and then examine the shorter period inside it. This keeps the time sequence connected to the chart rather than treating a sign’s name as a complete forecast.

Nārāyaṇa and Chara are separate choices in Mạghā’s picker. Their names should not be treated as interchangeable calculation settings. When comparing a reading with a teacher or another program, keep the chosen system, birth details and calculation conventions together. A period is a framework for interpretation; its ending is not a promise that an event will happen.

Questions about Nārāyaṇa Daśā

What is Narayana Dasha?

It is a rāśi, or sign-based, period system associated with Jaimini astrology. The main period is read through a zodiac sign, with shorter periods nested inside it. Mạghā lists it as Narayana in Rāśi and Other Daśās.

Is Narayana Dasha the same as Chara Dasha?

No. They are separate named systems and separate choices in the app. Use the method you intend to study, then compare its displayed sequence and dates rather than assuming that two sign-based systems must agree.

Why does the sample timeline start before birth?

The saved Narayana fixture includes a first period beginning before Nila’s birth. The diagram retains that boundary and marks birth within the period. It does not move the start to birth or present the full first period as a remaining balance.

Does the preview calculate my Narayana periods?

The embedded preview opens the unchanged Nila’s chart. To inspect your own periods, sign in, open your saved chart and choose Narayana on the Daśā card. Your birth details cannot be entered into this prepared preview.
