Ubhayachari Yoga
Ubhayachari Yoga places qualifying planets on both sides of the Sun, combining the arrangements described separately by Veshi and Vashi. A malefic-only version has a different interpretation, so identify which planets form the combination.
Sun in Cancer · Mercury in Leo · Venus in Gemini

How Ubhayachari Yoga forms
Count from the Sun's sign. At least one qualifying planet must occupy the second position and at least one the twelfth. Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn qualify; the Moon and the lunar nodes are excluded from the basic test.
Both sides must be occupied. A separate record describes a malefic-only arrangement, and its difficult interpretation should not be applied to every Ubhayachari formation.
The Sun is in Cancer, Mercury in Leo and Venus in Gemini. Mercury occupies the second position and Venus the twelfth. Both chart formats display the same two-sided example.

Learning and responsibility
The general description associates this yoga with learning, a balanced outlook and the capacity to shoulder responsibility. Its comparison with a ruler expresses the stature attributed to the combination.
These are traditional themes, not a prediction of office, leadership or personal capability.

Comforts and the forming planets
Wealth and enjoyment appear in the general account, which particularly emphasises favourable results when benefics form the arrangement. The separate malefic-only entry qualifies that broad picture.
Formation and interpretation therefore need to stay connected. A match to the general rule should not be treated as proof that the most favourable version is present.
Traditional interpretations are not guaranteed outcomes; consider the whole birth chart.
